Job Description:

Swiggy’s storefront Engineering team help customers enjoy personalized discovery and purchase experience across multiple product lines (Stores, Food, New initiatives). The team is trying to achieve this through thoughtfully crafted apps, smart catalogs, highly relevant search & intent-driven merchandising, checkout and payment systems. We are looking for engineers who have built distributed systems with high reliability and have deep expertise in database design and performance tuning. Knowledge of machine learning and other predictive modeling techniques would be preferred. Few interesting problems we’re solving,

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on a full product development lifecycle from requirement gathering, product design, development, to roll out and maintenance
  ( Effectively collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders including product and design
• Own the delivery of multiple features of the product end to end while hands-on in development as well
• Advocate best development practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, automation (testing and infrastructure) and code modularity, extensibility, quality
• Experience in building Apps from Scratch is a big plus
• Facilitating and driving key technology decisions with senior technology stakeholders;
• Attracting, retaining, and building top notch full stack engineering talent

Job Requirements:

• Managing systems in production and understands the release process, monitoring, and debugging
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining high performance, high availability, large-scale web applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment

Qualification & Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience managing and growing engineering teams
